Am 24., 25. und 26. Dezember und 1. Jänner ist das Museum GESCHLOSSEN.
Neben den Grundlagen zu textilen Materialien und Techniken, erhalten Sie Einblicke in alle Verarbeitungsschritte der Flachsaufbereitung, sowie in die Entwicklung der Handwebstühle bis hin zur Jacquardmaschine und den Webautomaten. Sie tauchen ein in die Welt der Muster, erfahren Interessantes über moderne Materialien und Entwicklungen und setzen sich mit wirtschaftlichen Zusammenhängen auseinander.

In addition to the basics of textile materials and techniques, you will gain an insight into all the processing stages of flax preparation, as well as the development of hand looms through to Jacquard machines and automatic weaving machines. You will be immersed in the world of patterns, learn interesting facts about modern materials and developments and explore economic contexts.

Kromě základů textilních materiálů a technik nahlédnete do všech fází zpracování lnu a do vývoje ručních tkalcovských stavů až po žakárové stroje a tkalcovské automaty. Ponoříte se do světa vzorů, dozvíte se zajímavosti o moderních materiálech a vývoji a budete analyzovat ekonomické souvislosti.
