Nach dem großen Erfolg ihres letzten preisgekrönten Albums "z e h n" (Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik) setzen BartolomeyBittmann in ihrem neuen Programm "Best of BB" den Fokus auf die Essenz ihres bisherigen kompositorischen Schaffens. In den vier seither entstandenen Programmen leben die Eigenkompositionen des progressiven Duos von starken emotionalen Kontrasten: "Meridian" (2013), das Finden einer verbindenden Linie, eines musikalischen Wegs. "Neubau" (2015), die Idee des Erschaffens im gemeinsamen Komponieren. "Dynamo" (2019), das dramatische Element in Musik und Performance, "z e h n" (2022), die Kontinuität und das Tragen einer Philosophie.

Die musikalische Bandbreite von "Best of BB" erstreckt sich von wuchtigen Rock-Riffs und virtuos rasenden unisono Passagen, bis hin zu intimen Grooves und einfühlsamen Kantilenen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei stets auf der Suche nach dem akustischen Fundament ihrer klassischen Instrumente.

Following the great success of their last award-winning album "z e h n" (German Record Critics' Award), BartolomeyBittmann are focusing on the essence of their compositional work to date in their new program "Best of BB". In the four programs they have created since then, the progressive duo's original compositions live from strong emotional contrasts: "Meridian" (2013), the finding of a connecting line, a musical path. "Neubau" (2015), the idea of creation in joint composition. "Dynamo" (2019), the dramatic element in music and performance, "z e h n" (2022), the continuity and support of a philosophy.

The musical spectrum of "Best of BB" ranges from massive rock riffs and virtuosic raging unison passages to intimate grooves and sensitive cantilenas. The focus is always on the search for the acoustic foundation of their classical instruments.
